Course Overview - Facilitator / Trainer / Assessor

To deliver Vocational Training or complete assessments in your workplace for management, leadership, practical, equipment and Safety skills, you are generally required to have the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The course covers off the skill sets, knowledge and competencies required to design, deliver and assess training.ng

Training Momentum Pty Ltd deliver and assess this course (in partnership with Healthy Business Training Academy, RTO #: 30831). You will be enrolled directly with HBTA and they will issue your certificate upon successful completion of your course.

 Online

The training program is student-centered, interactive and enjoyable to ensure you stay focused and engaged.

Classroom Delivery - Option Currently Unavailable

You may prefer to study in a face to face classroom, with our Trainer and Assessor and other attendees.

You will be required to attend a number of multiple day training blocks. Some Assessment tasks are completed during these blocks. You will be required to complete further Assessments in addition to the class attendance.

Course Structure & Assessment Requirements

Please note: This course requires the completion of twelve (12) units, consisting of six core units and six electives.

TAEASS412 Assess competence

TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation

TAEDEL411 Facilitate vocational training

TAEDES411 Use nationally recognised training products to meet vocational training needs

TAEDES412 Design and develop plans for vocational training

TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector

Suggested Elective Units: (6 Units Required)

TAELLN421 Integrate core skills support into training and assessment

TAELLN423 Integrate employability skills support into training and assessment

TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction

TAEDEL405 Plan, organise and facilitate online learning

TAEDEL412 Facilitate workplace-based learning

BSBAUD411 Participate in quality audits  or BSBAUD412 Work within compliance frameworks

Elective Choices

  • from the elective list in the Packaging Rules
  • 1 Unit may be from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Certificate III level
  • 1 Unit may be from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Certificate IV or above

The Elective unit must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.

Entry Requirements
Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessing area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification in the area you lan to be Training and Assessing within.
